shortening links

Sat Jun 28, 2008 2:04 pm

How does one shorten a link to one word such as "clicky" or "link"?

Hey Dave, you know how you usually create a link using this code?

Code:
[url]http://whatever.com[/url]

Well, to shorten it to a nice link using the words of your choice, use this:

Code:
[url=http://whatever.com]Click Here[/url]

Here's a link for Google...

Google

The code would look like this:

Code:
[url=www.google.com]Google[/url]

Thanks!

That's it. Another way to look at it:

Type the words you want to show.

Select them all and click the URL button.

Edit the url to add the equal sign and your link to the opening URL statement.
