Maximum editing time implemented?

I don't know if this has been previously discussed, but it appears that you can no longer edit a post after a certain time period? I only discovered this because I was trying to edit a post for the BGC Formula 1 fantasy league -- to update the points standings -- and I can't edit that post. It's no big deal, because I can just repost the table later in the thread, but how long is the window now? About 1 week maybe?

The window is open for 10 days.

The limits were imposed about 18 months ago when a member decided to delete every single one of his posts.
