When I try to go to BGC on Firefox 9 times out of 10 it won't load. It always loads with IE. Never had this problem with Firefox until I re-loaded everything on my HD after a malware virus. It's the latest version of Firefox 2.0.0.2.

I get the page with the password, enter it, put the check in the remember me box and click log in. Then I get the same page except the check disappears. I can't get past the log in page most of the time.

Try deleting the FireFox browser cache. These links explain how to do that:

browser.cache.check_doc_frequency
Editing configuration

FWIW: In one of my lines of business, I field about 30 emails a week on various computer questions. Lately I've noticed a number of them coming from Firefox users who have had their PCs infected by virus/malware while browsing.

Rick: I recently switched (permanently) to Firefox and had the same trouble myself (not a good thing for an admin! ) before clearing out the imported cookies from IE.

It's all IE's fault... see?

Piece of crap. Here's CNET's IE vs. Firefox shootout:

Internet Explorer 7 vs. Firefox 2
